    Description

    This Meade ETX90 mount is being sold for parts.  I don't think it is worth repairing.
    It powers on with an AC adapter.  Both motors turn smoothly using a #492 hand controller.  When I tried several 494 and 497 AutoStar handsets they would not work at all.  This means there is likely something wrong on the front circuit board.
    The RA motor and gears look good.  The right side knob will not come off so I am unable to inspect and photo the declination motor and gears.  The knob will turn but does not unscrew.  I did not want the force it and damage something that may be useful.  I did remove the screws to the arm cover but could not get a good view.  What little I could see looked good.
    As the last three photos show, the battery compartment is toast.
    This is being sold as-is with no return accepted.  Only the mount is in this offering.  The #492 hand controller and AC adapter are not included.
