Wide FOV: 7.3 Degree
This finder scope has a 50mm aperture, and so provides a particularly bright image. The objects that you are not able to see with naked eyes will show in the aperture. The 7.3°FOV, 21mm long eye-relief eyepiece produces a bright 6.25mm exit pupil and will allow you to find faint galaxies, comets, and nebulae
Image Erected
The finder scope produces images that are right-side-up, left-to-right correct. In other words, things are not upside-down and backwards like most viewfinders.;
Focal Length: 185mm
The 185mm focal length finder scope is designed for use with astronomy telescopes up to 2000mm focal length. Fit perfect with Dobsonian telescopes and Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. Also fit perfect with our SVBONYT SV503 telescope.;
Fully Multi-coated Optics
Fully multi-coated Glass means all lens surfaces and all air-to-glass surfaces are anti-reflective multi-layer coated. The 50mm FMC lens increases the light transmission and benefits for finding targets in the night sky.;
Adjustable Brightness LED Cross-hair
The straight-through finder has a precision glass-etched illuminated reticle with cross-hair to mark the field boundaries and an open circle in the middle so that stars can be perfectly centered without being covered. The deep red illumination is continuously variable to provide the desired brightness. Compared with traditional brass cross-hair, the glass-etched reticle has a great improvement in precision and lifespan. ;
Separately Adjust the Cross-hair Angle
The angle of cross-hair is available to be adjusted separately. After aligning the finder scope, if you notice the cross-hair is at the wrong angle, then loose the knob and rotate the front part of the scope to correct the reticle instead of adjusting the whole finder scope.;
Centre the Target
The finder comes with a finder bracket, which is with 6 large adjustment screws and knurled head, easy to grip, and adjusting and clamping screws have plastic tips. After aligning your finder scope, you will find the object that in the center of your finder scope aperture shows in the center on your telescope aperture. Please note that no finder base is included. ;
Individual Focus
Both the eyepiece and the main objective can be focused independently so that you can obtain perfect focus for your eyes. ;
