    converts a telescope SYNTA SIZE "FINDER DOVETAIL" into a picatinny rail
    suitable for mounting
    Pinty
    brand and
    other picatinny rail mount lasers (or finders) to a telescope.
    Fabulous problem solving part, makes it easy to mount a
    picatinny or weaver rail laser
    to
    telescope synta dovetail bracket.
    The dovetail bracket that this fits is a standard synta dovetail bracket, as found on
    Orion
    telescopes and many other brands.
    This is a sturdy plastic part, holds the laser securely without adding weight (1/2 ounce).  It about 1 1/2 inches long, it matches the base of the Pinty holder.
