    Vintage Early '70's CELESTRON SANDCAST Period C8 / C5 TRIPOD. Looking for a period correct piece? Given the limited period that these were made, this particular style is hard to find. This one is from a '74 model C8. At this time, this tripod fits the wedge for both the C5 and C8's. Fully mechanically functional! Hub works smoothly, no bends or dents. Yes, cosmetically it could use some light restoration. Legs have some tape residue which is easily removed with GooGone and some minor pitting which polish and wax would make short work of. A new coat of black paint and it would display very nicely! Check out the images as what you see is what you will receive!
